Can Casio CG50 download/upload .py from Android?
In all the documentation with the Casio CG50, it refers to the possibility of downloading/uploading python and other files to/from a PC, and with a PC it turns out the most complicated part is making sure you have a .py file rather than a .py.txt file.

I have also tried transferring files on Android. Perhaps you don't need to wait until you are at your pc.

The Casio CG50 comes with a mini usb to usb cable.
If you add to that a usb to usb-c cable*, you can connect the Casio CG50 to the Android and explore the filesystem. The connection works just like it would with a PC (except I think Android may automatically create a few folders for you, like My Podcasts).

The next step will be to try to transfer python code.

So far I have persuaded Google Docs to create a .py file, but it is in the Google "Drive", which seems to lack any option to save files to where you actually need them.

*Assuming a modern phone with usb-c and OTG mode.
