Backup compatible between G1 and G2?

Backup compatible between G1 and G2?
Is it possible to restore a G1 from a backup of a G2? Are the backups compatible between the two generations?
HP-15C, HP-15C LE, HP-15C CE, HP-16C, HP-35S, HP Prime G1, HP Prime G2

I've had no problem restoring backups made with m G1 to a G2. Of course, I haven't made too many restores so the statistical sample isn't very large.

I have now dared to restore the G1 with a G2 backup. It worked. :-)
