Problem with the GMS template °′″

When placing the GMS template °′″ the cursor is placed after the degree symbol °|′″, it should be placed before |°′″

You are using it wrong. You're supposed to key digits first (the whole hours or degrees), then press [°′″], then more digits (minutes), then press [°′″] again, and finally key the seconds (if any). The final [°′″] is optional. You never need to put °′″ on the edit line and then insert digits into it.

The template ∎°∎′∎″ (accessed with the units button) specifies that the symbols °′″ are suffixes to ∎, so the cursor must be placed before the degree symbol |°

This problem only occurs when the input line is in non-pretty print mode, known here as algebraic mode as opposed to RPN mode.
