REVIEW- HP-50g A Tutorial for Engineering Students by rolinychupetin
This is a brief recommendation for the introductory video series entitled,
"HP-50g A Tutorial for Engineering Students".

- FREE video course on youtube offered by rolinychupetin
- 19 lessons total (see free YouTube link below)

I thought this was a good "intro to early-intermediate" course that ran at a rapid pace. It helped having some basic working knowledge of the 50g beforehand. There are about 2.5 hours of video but it will take more time if solving the examples (say 5 hours).

First video provided helpful set-up recommendations. I thought the video series provided a good introduction to programming, matrices, and complex numbers. Some examples solve and graph basic electrical engineering questions.

Minor nit: The videos' virtual keyboard was not always visible. And some steps were skipped. So one might need to rewind some segments (or revisit prior videos) to follow along.

Overall, I found all three "50g tutorial videos" I tried out to be enjoyable and useful. I don't have a preferred video series but a preferred order, particularly as I have been out of the math game for a while:

1- "mathtutordvd" was the most gentle introduction to the 50g. $25 but there are free sample lessons.

2- "Tutoriales Ingeniero Civil" were a good follow up with additional information and depth. Free but in Spanish (try with English subtitles on youtube to see how engaging that translated experience is). Videos made by a civil engineer.

3- "rolinychupetin" covered the basics but also some different, more advanced material. Free on youtube. Videos made by an electrical engineer.

Thank you. I've enjoyed the mathtutordvd videos, but have not seen rolinychupetin's. I'll look them out, thanks.
