Enegizer 357 cell BIUB code
I'm posting this here since although my application is for my HP Voyager calculators the question isn't.

I recently purchased a number of Energizer 357 coin cells (for my HP calculators that use them). Unfortunately there isn't any code/etc on the packaging to indicate what Enegerizer calls the BIUB (Best If Used By) date. However the cells have "LC-" printed on them which according to what I've found online is a coded month/year biub.

That said I've been unable to find anything, anywhere, that definitively defines what the letters mean.

BTW these are Silver Oxide cells not Lithium so the code isn't chemical composition.

PS: As an aside the cells that were in use were purchased in 2002. No "battery low" warnings but my HP-15C gave a "Pr Error" after the batteries were changed.

HP-15C (2234A02xxx), HP-16C (2403A02xxx), HP-15C CE (9CJ323-03xxx), HP-20S (2844A16xxx), HP-12C+ (9CJ251)
