Texas TI-36X PRO / 30X PRO complex numbers support?
I'm considering the acquisition of a Texas TI-30X PRO (European model, equivalent to the TI-36X PRO in the USA) to compare it against my current CASIO fx-991EX Plus.
Considering the so many reports here and there, apparently the Texas takes on the Casio in many aspects. I wonder if one of our MoHPC members owning a Texas Ti-36X PRO or the TI-30X PRO would know the answer for these two questions: 1. Are they able to do a sqrt(-2) ? Expected answer: 1.41421356 i 2. Are the alleged reported bugs fixed on the later 2014 models? Thanks in advance! Jose Mesquita RadioMuseum.org member |

This seller advertises TI-36X PRO in Germany:

To be more specific, 2 bugs on the 30X Pro have been fixed, the Cubic Equation Solver Bug & Planck's Constant.
The programming bug remains: http://nickweil.blogspot.co.at/2012/01/t...video.html The programming bug is also on my 36X Pro. |

I think I will start by ordering a 30X PRO (new in the box) from Germany to start with. Later, I will hunt down a 36X PRO as well, probably from the USA, as the asking prices are lower there when compared to what French or German sellers are asking right now for this specific USA model.
