Upper limit for exact factorial
All recent firmware revs seem to allow CAS to calculate up to 1000! but no greater exact factorial, returning infinity for 1001! or higher. But the rev 7820 emulator seems able to go up to 1006!. That's a strange difference between the hardware and emulator, apparently unrelated to amount of available memory.

I'll try on Emulator in the afternoon, I'm curious... However, permutation for 1001 people are indeed ...too :-) Salvo ∫aL√0mic (IT9CLU) :: HP Prime 50g 41CX 71b 42s 39s 35s 12C 15C - DM42, DM41X - WP34s Prime Soft. Lib |
