How to Back-up Library on HP49G?
Hi all,

I've recently started creating custom libraries on one of my HP49G calculators & was wondering how I can transfer/back-up the Library to my PC?

Normally use Conn4x for software creation & back-up but can't figure out a way of transferring a Library that is attached to Port 2.

Many thanks,

Michael

You have to copy the library to main memory (name it anything you wish) and then transfer it to your PC from there. There is no way to transfer stuff directly between port memory and a PC.

Thanks Joe. By main memory I guess you mean into the directory structure such as Home -> Etc?

Cheers,

Michael

Yes; its named contents are displayed by pressing the VAR key. In the FILER (accessed by the FILES key, left-shift APPS) it's called "Home".
