Recent Red Dot auction
There was a Red Dot HP-35 briefly listed for auction this afternoon. The item description claimed a serial number of 1143A00013. It quickly sold for $1500.

For the record: I am not the buyer or seller, and I am not affiliated with the buyer or seller. I just thought this would be of interest to many people on this forum.

At least the buyer saved $28 for shipping and insurance with BIN.

RE: Recent Red Dot auction
Thanks for the information.

Quote:This unit was manufactured sometime during the week beginning August 13 1972.

I don't think this can be true for a Red Dot, and btw I don't think we can be sure which week exactly was build any given HP-35 unit.

The serial number is not clear, from some signs it looks that the serial number might be higher and it just ends with 13. But the definite proof of the low serial would be a test for the Big Bug by typing 1 eex chs 10 ln and checking the result.

Not if the calc was returned to HP Smile

Nevertheless: the unit does not go to Allschwil this time ;(

By the way: I don't know the seller... he is not very active on the bay.... does someone know him? He dealed with other stuff than HPs.
