Strange FRAM 71 Error Message

I've seen HAL from 2001: A Space Odyssey used on the forum as someone's avatar.



Well, I have HANS.



So I was issuing a command:

Me: Open the HP-IL port, please, HANS.
HANS: I'm sorry, Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

Any idea what's going on?
