HP 15c April 2012 version
Can anyone advise whether or not the PSE functionality has been corrected in the April 2012 HP15c LE release units?

Thank You,

Nick

There was no public fix for the PAUSE bug.

It seems the 15C-LE is flashable just like the 30B
Can the PSE issue be solved by software and a patch flashed (must be quite a difficult task though...)?

As Namir already said, there is no patch (in the wild), and since this calculator is out of production, I have no hope any of the 15C LE bugs will ever be addressed.

Unless this is done with a patch by the community.
Sbdy had the skill to turn a 30 into a 34s... everything seems possible after that.

There's no SDK for the 15C LE. OTOH, you can't get the firmware off this calculator to patch it, i.e. you have to rewrite the emulator and *license* the 15C ROM if you intend to distribute the new firmware.

RE: HP 15c April 2012 version
A better option would be to convince (& pay) Eric to port nonpareil to the hardware. The bugs wouldn't be there & it would likely be a bit slower but it would work properly.

There won't be 34S firmware for the 15C hardware from me.

On request of HP he took the 15C ROM out of his distibution.

RE: HP 15c April 2012 version
AFAIK the 15C LE is an emulator.
Therefore the original ROM is in the 15C LE and we all own it.
