WTB: HP-95LXspare parts
I would like to buy some spare parts for a HP-95LX, as follows:

- 1 x CR2032 battery tray (small metal tray to extract the coin cell from the right hand side slot)

- 1 x Battery compartment cover (it goes under the machine over the two AA batteries.

I will pay the price and the s&h costs to Portugal (European Union).

Thank you!

I do have the battery tray, but of course it is plastic, not metal. Postage from the USA might be more than the value of the part. Maybe you could try Michel Bel in the Netherlands (michel 'at' belconsult.net).

My spare AA battery compartment covers are all missing one of the fragile legs that hold them in place. I have repaired one of mine by pressing in a brass pin and using super glue to hold it in place.

The glue application is not the neatest I have ever done, but that’s partly because it is the gel type of super glue (cyanoacrylate). Also, since none of this shows on the outside of the case, it was not critical to clean up.

That brass pin is a tapered one used in clock repairs. Its widest end measures about 1.28 mm in diameter. I clipped it from its full length of one inch (~2.54 cm) to about 1.15 cm.

Thank you for the hint on repairing the battery cover!

Concerning the 1 x CR2032 battery tray, I assumed it was metal as I don't remember it from the old times when I last used one these machines.
I acquired one 95LX recently and it is missing this battery tray.

I will check with an European supplier before calling you again.
