S.R.;
I'd never heard of either of them. Melbard's looks pretty comprehensive. Dr. Hazelton's program wouldn't come up on my computer, but that might be due to my two-day-old version of Linux...Couldn't find Wollinda, but again, that may be me

Try the following:
Melbard url > http://www.melbard.com/files/hp33s/hp33s.htm
Hazelton url > http://sac-surveyors.org/node/325
Wollinda url > http://www.wollindina.com/

as well as John Butcher at hp33ssurveyor
butcher url > http://www.hp33ssurveyor.com/exams/
and scroll down to Butcher program listings

and MANY more using creative SEO tips 'n tricks.

BEST!

RE: COGO program for HP15C
My survey cogo programs are attached (they have now been tested using a genuine 15C). For our work there is still no substitute for having a fieldbook and a calc of some description in the field - you can't quickly or easily draw diagrams in a data logger, and there are some computations that are easier on a calculator, be it an 11C, a 48 or whatever.

Beautifully organized program suite guide. Things like these make us like the 15C even more.

And yes, although almost 34(!!) years old, the 15C is still more capable and reliable than many of the scientific calculators we have today.

Thanks for sharing.

??? Is that a joke? I don't get it.

My mistake, a typo, it should have read " it works..." not "I works...". I see your confusion!

Thanks for your kind words. I have prepared similar materials for the 35S and 11C in case anyone is after stuff like this.

Cheers

RE: COGO program for HP15C
Alex, very interesting programming work in topography, and also very well documented. As a suggestion, some numerical examples of each calculation routine could be included for testing.

I'm using HP 35s and I am interested in obtaining a copy of these programs
Congratulations and thanks for sharing your detailed work

Pedro

Here you go. The idea of having some test problems is a good one, which I will incorporate into my next revisions.
