All you need is a fortyone beep
My real missing function on a WP34s is the beep, when a program is finished. I use the IR way to give the signal, "hey the work is done". Here is the video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZDnWbxTdJA You need: IR Receiver Infrared Radiation Module 38 kHz Remote TSOP4838 DIP-3 Voice ISD1820 Recording Recorder Module With Mic Sound Audio+Loudspeaker (or a better one from an old PC) a 2 AAA Battery holder box (3V) and a universal case a switch and an old cable of an earphone 3.5mm With some modifications, you have a nice tool for an acustic signal. It also works with any tv remote control. For activation from a WP34s with IR option, you can use any short printer command. My next project is a IR controlled power switch for AC usage. Then I can switch my pc with my WP or my HP41 (with IR module) on. :-) Best regards Hans-Peter |
