In three years "my" HP-25 (S/N 1705S20960) will also turn 40. I still have the receipt from when I purchased it on June 12, 1977 for $116.00 plus tax. A memorable 16th birthday present to myself after having lusted after it for two years Smile

Have you owned it from new? How old were you when you got it? I'm pretty certain there was a boy at my school in the late 70s who had one - either that or the 67. We were about 13 years old. I was so in awe of that calculator, I can't even begin to imagine what it must have felt like to own one.

The colours on those manuals are sooo 1970s! Never noticed that before or saw b/w scans only....
