48G won't turn on, any suggestions?
Everything looks good and clean outside. No corroded battery contacts.
I checked batteries with a multimeter. All good. Tried pressing and twisting the unit a little, nothing works. Suggestions? Thanks. |

Try the old trick of pressing the ON key WHILE pressing down on the bezel just below the LCD and just above the B and C keys. It's amazing how many "dead" 48's can be turned on this way.

In my explorations of the general forum I do remember some posts talking about shorting contacts. So you may search this forum using Google ad hoc searches, maybe you get useful hints.
