RE: 28-Apr-2017 Virtual Keys - Virtual Keyboard
Hello,
Thank you Freire, that's a nice update. I know that QWERTY layout was a requested feature. it's a good job.

I'm sorry, I made a updated version of vkb several weeks ago, but I never had time to polish it to post it on the forum. The bad news is that you made your version on an outdated version of vkb.

So, if one could find it helpfull, I post here the last version.
Ok, it's not cleanly polished yet, (it have one dependance for the time : libmenu v3) but it works and fixes few things.

I won't go in detail about all changes in this post, but I added new keys (greek, math, indices...)

Hi Freire,
I don't know, I changed many things internally to have more flexibility, added a shift mode, and take profit of my lib menu.
Our versions may be difficult to merge now, that's a shame I built that version about 2 month from now, I should have update it earlier.
In a way, it's not that bad, as it gives more choices to users.
Best Regards.

Hey Freire! Thank you very much for your efforts. I'd like to ask if is it possible to use the app with the dark color theme? I'm not sure if it's not supported or I'm missing something.

Thanks for your reply! Meanwhile I just changed the colors to be able to use in dark mode! If it prove useful to someone until you can update the keyboard... well than it's attached! Cheers

1. Install the program.
2. Select User ([Shift]+[Help] - twice for permanent User Mode).
3. Select = ([ALPHA]+[Dot] - this opens the virtual keys on your calculator).

It's a very nice program!

Updated Version: [04/Jul/2017]

The programm is usefull, but doesn´t work nicely with lastest firmware (13333). When you select (ALPHA + DOT) in User mode, nothing happens.

RE: 04-July-2017 Virtual Keys - Virtual Keyboard v1.3b [Updated]
13333 has broken lots of programs. We can either code work arounds to all the broken programs, or await a firmware update which will fix them all.

See this thread.

See this thread.

Maybe to wait for an update is better, IMHO.
I would like to believe that the HP team could release it asap (and thanks in advance!)...

I know this thread is old, but I really wanted the virtual keyboard on the prime, so I edited Virtual Keyboard to work on the latest firmware. I'm just sharing this fixed version in case anyone else really wanted this feature like me.

First of all, thanks for patching it.
but mine doesn't work with it; I guess because of the firmware which it says 1.4.9
Do you think this is the issue that's why it is not loaded properly in my hp?
