RE: Prime Apps
Our recent discussion about your software on the HP Support Forum is found here:

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Calculator...p_SU#M8067

Tim Wessman chimed in to say that the FREE edition of the Prime app "does not include communication with the connkit, some of the apps, or the ability to write/load programs." That's all he said. To me, that implies that the PAID version of the app (at least on iOS) WOULD include all of that. Otherwise, why would he emphasize "free version" to say all that?

Again, I don't have a physical Prime calculator, nor have I even downloaded the FREE app on my iPhone, but if the paid app can run your software, then perhaps it is worth the $25.

Thoughts?

Yes, tha paid app versions can connect to the connectivity kit. They need to be on the same subnet as the connectivity kit (home computer, android device connected to the wireless router on same home router for example), not be blocked by firewalls, and then in the prime software go to page 4 of your home settings and you can pick to connect to the connkit "network" name as defined in your connkit preferences. By default it will be "HP Classroom Network"

Then the app shows up just like a device and can transfer and send the same as any device. Just like emulators on other computers, an emulator on the same computer, etc.

The free version of the apps has this capability disabled.

Apps refers to android, windows store, ios. The windows emulator and mac emulator are free and unrestricted.

Hi ji3m

Thanks for putting this together- big project!

I've been working through some programs from hp49G+ advanced users ref manual.
Rpl programming examples 2-3 gives a fib2 program that uses rot.
I got this working by substituting 3 roll
Could you add the rot command to next release please?

Steve

Will do. But for now just make an rpl pgm in the home directory: <|3 roll |> 'rot' sto

It really doest try to have 48-49 specific functions
Especially with a more advanced CAS.
