brackets

Is there a description of the different sorts of brackets/braces used on the prime. e.g. [] {} () <..> and <<...>>.

I've found it a bit confusing at times and there doesn't seem to be a single place where they are covered.
e.g. {} seem to be used to get multiple rows from a matrix, etc, etc..
