Newton unit
Hello!
The newton (symbol: N) is the International System of Units (SI) derived unit of force. (Wikipedia) But HP50 says in units menu as "n", however when entered as unit it says it as "N" (correct), but in menu it is "n". Font for "N" and "n" is similar, just change its size. Is this a bug? RE: Newton unit
Intentional. Not a bug. That tiny font has too few pixels to create a good-looking "N". So they just made the uppercase "N" be a taller version of the lowercase "n". Notice that the unit is the same "N" as in the CANCL soft key menu (key F5).

Hello Joe!
It is very good know you are fine! Font used is similar for "N" and "n", indeed "N" is taller than "n". (10-21-2020 06:03 AM)Joe Horn Wrote: Intentional. Not a bug. RE: Newton unit
Hi, CMarangon
You can toggle flag 90 for CHOOSE:cur font, and get expected "N" The bigger font is easier on the eyes. |
