Just curious (about exam mode)
HP makes a big deal about exam mode, but from my understanding, you can view images while in exam mode on the Prime. Doesn't that allow you to cheat?
....just wondering? -D |

RE: Just curious (about exam mode)
In the Exam Mode Configuration screen, putting a check mark next to "Notes and Programs" and "User Apps" locks out user-loaded images. The built-in apps can be locked out too, if so desired.

RE: Just curious (about exam mode)
I think the youtube video I saw about this was trying to hide it as a user app, so blocking those would block that...

RE: Just curious (about exam mode)
Hello,
Most official exam uses the "Hide memory" option which basically makes a backup of the user data, erases them and reboots the calculator in exam mode (where the restore functionality is turned off). The other options of exam modes are more dedicated to smaller, in class, exam where only some functios would be turned off (those related to what is being taught to avoid use of a 'do it all for me' function) Cyrille Although I work for the HP calculator group, the views and opinions I post here are my own. I do not speak for HP. |
