Best Battery Charger
I've been using this battery charger successfully with my Enerloops for 8 years. It is now discontinued and I'd like to buy another, modern version similar to this.
Any suggestions? Thanks .....Art https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00077...UTF8&psc=1 |

I am not aware of the specific differences (after reading specs, perhaps you could easily see). https://www.amazon.com/Crosse-Technology-BC-700-Battery-Charger/dp/B000RSOV50 --Bob Prosperi |

I too have the BC-700, it's a nice charger, lots of functionality.

RE: Best Battery Charger
Thanks everyone. Looks like the BC-700 is the answer.
I was thinking of this one as the "1000" model comes with standard batteries that I don't need or want. .....Art |

RE: Best Battery Charger
If I understand correctly, the difference between the 700 and the 1000 should be the maximum charging current of 700 mA vs 1800 mA.
I don't want my batteries to overheat, so I almost always run the charger at its minimum 200 mA and let them charge over night. If I need a really quick charge for some reason, I have a second charger which delivers 1 A, but I never actually used it for this purpose, I only use it to charge my 18650 Lithium cells. RE: Best Battery Charger
I'm a very recent purchaser of a BC-700 and Eneloop batteries and I am very happy with both. Also got the Classic series battery carrier that holds 3 standard AAA batteries from TAS and am happy with that as well.
