RE: Fun with HP41 users/owners
Okay, here's another one. Mainly fun with unauthorized curious persons.
Perhaps (probably?) it's all wellknown. If you're not in the office but don't want let your colleagues play with your HP41 LBL 'OFFF SF11 LBL 00 OFF SF 11 GTO 00 RTN After XEQing 'OFFF screen goes blank. Everytime I press ON the calculator instantly goes OFF I first wanted to turn off sound with CF 26, but that's set with every ON keypress. A positive side effect is that it gives the impression of some sort of malfunctioning (at least to these who are new to HP). One beep, and (s)he doesn't touch it again. Better than all "Touch it and you're dead!" post-its *g* It also can be a sort of alert when you can't have your eyes at your little gem ^^ "Repairing" is easy. Hold R/S when pressing on. RE: Fun with HP41 users/owners
Thanks.
But I suspect most of us are too old for not having ever used this trick... ;) Greetings, Massimo -+×÷ ↔ left is right and right is wrong |
