[WP-34S] Accessing step
QQ: Say I have like 100 steps in my program and want to see #57. Is there another way but use up and down arrows?

Anyhow, that solution only works in input mode, because when in program mode we have to navigate using just the up and down arrows, right? I do not see this a big issue, however it was nice if we could do page up and page down as well from inside the program editor. Jose Mesquita RadioMuseum.org member |

That solution works in run mode. When in program mode, how about pressing [P/R] [GTO][.] xyz [P/R] ? d:-) P.S.: And Franz is right. |

I do my home work, so before posting my remark I did check my copy of the freeware pdf downloadable Owner's Guide v3.1. By the way, the information on the GTO command is on page 87 of 211. Well, I checked on my WP-34S before posting, and it didn't work in programming mode for the two times I tried. For instance, typing [h] + [XEQ] (GTO) [.] [0] [2] [5] What I did get was two new program entries: GTO 02 5 And so I wrongly assumed it was not working as indicated. But now I have found out the issue: as I mentioned in another thread, my calculator has a lot of keyboard issues, so I found out one more failing key: The [.]. So it is the [A], [.], and one full row from [down] to [-]. I believe it is about time to scrap it and get another one Jose Mesquita RadioMuseum.org member |
