HP-41CV in Space Shuttle
Hi,

maybe of interest for those who are interested in the application of HP calculators in in space (Gemini, Apollo, Shuttle) I have seen that the NASM now has a nice picture of the HP-41CV as used in the Space Shuttle at

RE: HP-41CV in Space Shuttle
Hi Martin,

It's great to see the space program connection with the HP-41.

Over the years, I have tried to locate the programs that were actually used, but to no avail. I did get a copy of the:

Hewlett-Packard 41 Calculator/Shuttle Portable
Onboard Computer Training Manual.

See previous post with some details of the manual:

HP-41 Space Manual

There is a reference to the "HP-41Flight Procedures Handbook".

But I have never been able to find a copy of it.

Of course the really big find would be the cassette tape with the original programs on it. I have always wondered if the HP-41 on display at the museum still has the modules in it and if these modules would still be readable.

Very nice - after reading the usual "Key Notes", I also found more stuff to read at

For modules see e.g.

Great photo showing the 41.

I wonder if the Philishave on the bulkhead behind Sally's chair was specially modified?
