HP7550 Plus plotter, Programming Manual - inakiz - 08-09-2014 01:24 PM Hi. When HP7550A plotter was released it came along three manual: "Users Guide", "Quick Reference" and "Interfacing and Programming Manual". Some time after , the "HP7550 Plus" model was released; this plotter was HP-GL2 instead of HP-GL, and had some improvements and a large buffer. The 7550Plus came along two manuals: "Users Guide" and "Computer Information". No "programming" book was included. Although you can think any HPGL2 reference would do the job, this is not the case because the Plus model has specific commands not found on the HPGL2, and there were some ESC commands not found on the 7550A either. So my question is: was there a "Programming Manual" specific to the "7550 Plus" (also known as 7550B model) ? RE: HP7550 Plus plotter, Programming Manual - TomC - 08-12-2014 04:21 PM To my knowledge there was NOT a programmers manual released for the 7550B. I am not aware of 7550B commands outside of HPGL2; would you please elaborate? Source? Thank you, TomC RE: HP7550 Plus plotter, Programming Manual - Dave Frederickson - 08-12-2014 05:30 PM According to the HP 7550 Plus User's Guide there was an HP-GL/2 Reference Guide and a HP-GL/2 Comparison Guide available. Dave RE: HP7550 Plus plotter, Programming Manual - Martin Hepperle - 10-05-2015 07:27 AM Now that I have also obtained such a machine (indeed great machine) I have also checked the accessory list: HP 7550 Plus
The memory boards seem to be identical to LaserJet III parts. The last two items are not 7550 specific. Martin |
