HP41C keyboard label remove - isanchez - 05-15-2015 10:31 AM Hi, is there any succesful way to remove the keyboard label of an HP41C? I have got one in bad state that could be replaced from a donor. Maybe heating with a hairdryer would help? Do you have any experience? Thanks in advance Kind regards Ignacio RE: HP41C keyboard label remove - TASP - 05-15-2015 12:56 PM My first impulse would be to put an overlay over the marred label. Am I missing something ?? (it's early here and I'm not too perky yet, LOL) RE: HP41C keyboard label remove - Ángel Martin - 05-16-2015 06:41 AM (05-15-2015 12:56 PM)TASP Wrote: My first impulse would be to put an overlay over the marred label. I had the same though - and a few sticker overlays that could fit the bill. Mind you, not for the standard keyboard but the SandMath, and 41Z; thus you'd have that looking at you permanently which can be perhaps overwhelming and probably not what you want. RE: HP41C keyboard label remove - isanchez - 05-19-2015 09:07 AM Hi, just to report that I have done it, with the help of a hairdryer. It looks acceptable, but it has some bends and marks that are very difficult to avoid. Thanks a kind regard Ignacio RE: HP41C keyboard label remove - Jose Gonzalez Divasson - 05-23-2015 01:30 PM Ignacio, good luck with it! |
