HP-31E connections repair - C2j2 - 01-26-2014 08:05 PM Hello, I am a new member, HP Lover, but not an expert. I am trying to repair an old 31E. After having cleaned the corrosion (with white vinegar…maybe not the best way to do it, but it worked) due to batteries leak, one problem is subsisting : the connections on the flexible part going from the charging port/battery terminals to the main circuits are unfortunately broken. Is there a simple way to repair them? Thanks a lot for your help. HTH RE: HP-31E connections repair - W_Max - 01-27-2014 12:21 AM http://www.maxes.ho.ua/Pics/Calcs/Shlrep.jpg You can do repair this way (as I already done). Thin wire was fixed by glue after cleaning, but you can try scotch instead... In the photo above, I do not complete contacts cleaning, as I've done it after making cam shot.
