How to know which I have?

"The centronics one can be operated from the RS232 port, BUT did you set the dipswitches in the right order."
I don't see any dipswitches.
Where are they at?

The HP ProOffice PC that I'm hooked up to has an onboard serial port.
I have been using a HP 7540A with no issues using Corel Draw 12.
