For me the most important feature is that the final edition would be available. I keep checking the swissmicros site but I don't find anything at all.

I agree backlight would be super, did you mean only the display or also the keyboard? Double-shot keys would make the keyboard light possible. I don't know what batteries the DM-41X will use. If coin cells then backlighting is probably unlikely.

Keyboard hardware is a problem on the preview versions? This sounds disturbing.
