In any of its android version.4 ... version10 on the home screen, I can hide/stop/delete all applications except the most necessary ones:

In android, you can even never install a SIM and do not deal with a telecom operator, using free services using WiFi (mobile communication with 60 countries, the Internet, etc.). At least that`s the way things are in my democratic colony.
