I have not looked at unbounded domains, for which Sinh-Sinh and Exp-Sinh are applicable. Functions that are typically integrated over non-[0,1] finite domains are normalized to the [0,1] domain in experiments. It is simpler that way to conduct the tests and for comparisons. By implication, this work also applies to non-[0,1] finite domains. I've updated the draft article today with the latest improvements and corrections to Tanh-Sinh. Once this is done I will update the original post with the list of improvements and the final code in a couple of days. - Rob Edit: needed clarification: not updating the original post and code until the work is done in a couple of days "I count on old friends to remain rational" |
