Yeah, it’s pretty obvious how to do it with text files. In a former life, I achieved a modicum of fame by writing and publishing (for free) the first Macintosh telecommunications program (had to crack open my Mac and trace the circuitry to do it - there’s enough information in the 82164A manual so I wouldn’t have to do that again).

Anyway, I was more interested in easily transferring binary files, like LEX files or whatever.
