Interesting. I recently bought the same set of PC-1500A and CE-161 in new condition, original Sharp product and the memory shows correctly.

I have a different problem though. Most of the instruments in this series have the A-Z variables expressed both automatically and by the A(1)-A(26) transformation. Unfortunately, in this instrument it doesn't work. However, the manual for the PC-1500A says it works like this. Can you test that this is indeed the case, but this method of calling the variable using A(1-26) does not work?

Finally I found in the German manual that in PC-1500A the variable A is represented by @, so correctly @(1) is equal to A, @(2) is equal to B etc.
