It comes with a faux leather cover. I mentioned it in an earlier comment. It is similar to the one sent with the HP 15C CE edition, except the 15C CE edition's cover is textured and flaccid whereas the 12C's is plain and slightly stiffer. The 12C's cover feels slightly more plastic.

There is neither a hard box (if that's what you meant by case) nor a printed manual included such as what are included with the 15C CE.

I'm sorry I missed the earlier mention of the case/cover. What it comes with is what I hope for with a calc purchase.
