RE: HP PRIME WON'T CHARGE
I had the same problem with an old Ipaq. The smart Hp charger provided with the device will refuse to charge if the voltage fails below a certain threshold and in my case the battery was nearly at zero.
I managed to get the battery powered up to a level where the hp charger would work by using a non smart but regulated adjustable charger that provides a max current of 600ma. I set output to 4.5v and connected direct to battery terminals and left it for 30mins. The battery had risen to around 2.5 volts. Something like this https://amzn.eu/d/cpxntzC After that with the battery back in the Ipaq the Hp charger was happy to do its thing. Obviously it's at your own risk and don't leave the battery unattended while charging like this. But if all else fails this can get you up and running[/php] again! |
