Interesting serial number
Today I used my HP 82104A card reader.
When I took a look at the serial number I realized it should not be valid:

2057S...

57th week of 1980? What went wrong in those days? Did they forget to switch the year to 1981 and recount the weeks from 01?
Responsable manager still in X-Mas holidays?
Anybody recognized such a strange thing in the past? Are there also calcs outside with an invalid week?
