Problem with Program listings, Graphic objects in printable versions.
For the HP Prime section of the forum, I was wondering if one of the knowledgeable members could give step by step instructions of how to get code listings to keep all the correct information so that it is actually going to be able to be used with the emulator or actual calculator. Also where on the PC do these files need to be located to be recognized by both the emulator and the actual calculator? Not all that many people are that familiar with the file structure of a PC and what switches, etc. must be turned or or off to see different kinds of files. Including myself.
UNICODE translation problem again, I think! A more general question. I have also noticed that converting a thread to a printable version so a a complete code listing can be read, graphic objects are not preserved from the original post. (See the post on QPi from Han I believe, as an example) |

RE: Problem with Program listings, Graphic objects in printable versions.
hello Harold,
just solved myself with the help of few members of the forum. In order to load files in the emulator you have to save the hpprgm file in the following directory: C:\Users\Your name\AppData\Roaming\HP_Prime This directory is usually a hidden one. in order to show it, if you have win7: - open file Explorer - click on 'organise' - select something like 'directory option and research' - on the top click on the 'visualisation' tab - click on 'show hidden files, directories and units The name of these items may be different. I have the italian version. Then in order to send files to the real calculator, i cut and paste programs (editing them) in the connectivity kit. Hope it helps Giancarlo |
