charge whilst off?
hi, potentially silly question here; I've searched, but not found this mentioned anywhere:
Does the Prime have to be On while charging? It comes on, when you insert a powered USB cable, if off, but can I turn it off again and let it charge with the screen off? Or does it have to be On? I could test it, but with the lack of granularity in the battery level display, it's not obvious. Mine is a G2 if that makes a difference. thanks… Cambridge, UK 41CL/DM41X 12/15C/16C DM15/16 17B/II/II+ 28S 42S/DM42 32SII 48GX 50g 35s WP34S PrimeG2 WP43S/pilot/C47 Casio, Rockwell 18R |

When You connect the calculator to powered USB cable and switch it Off, after switching it On, G1 model shows charging indicator immediately after switching On, G2 model do not shows charging indicator immediately, only a few seconds later a charging indicator appears, it is a bit confusing. The calculator charges when it is turned off. Tested. |

To answer your question: I don't believe so, no. I just checked my G2: 3.7V, 7.4Wh, 2,000mAh I don't have an earlier model, but I believe they came with a 1,500mAh battery. edit: if you meant physical size, I can't say as I don't have both to compare. RE: charge whilst off?
About the size, yes, they are the same. I removed my 2200 mhA Samsung battery from my G1 to G2. No problem.
