Don't Overlook the Obvious
from a reputable source …
The point P is any point on the circle with center O. Perpendicular lines are drawn from P to perpendicular diameters, AB and CD, meeting them at points F and E, respectively. If the diameter of the circle is 8, what is the length of EF?
