Correcting 'features' introduced by google at each major release of android is boring ...
That why I wanted a new calculator for Christmas .... as the HP prime is not easy to get in France, I got a TI 83 PCE .... (argll ... but I had a very long time ago a TI 57 and then a TI 58C before my 41CX ...) So to refresh my z80 assembly I tried a new emulator ... on a real hardware ... so here is TI41CX. |

RE: ti41cx
What makes you say that the Prime is hard to get in France?
There may not be many bricks & mortar stores that sell it but there's this wonderful thing called the internet whereby you can buy stuff from anywhere in the world The same applies to the UK, but I bought one of my Primes from Amazon, one from eBay and one from a store in the Netherlands. |

RE: ti41cx
This is really good, thanks a lot! Very impressive.
If you do not mind a suggestion, I think it could be even more useful if you added a keymap image to the documentation, rather than letting the users discover most key mappings by themselves. |

RE: ti41cx
This looks really cool! Do you use the built in ROM functions for trig and logs?

RE: ti41cx
This is an emulator, it emulates the real 41 hardware (cpu, keyboard, timer). It use the real HP41 roms. A new version with AMC_OSX/lib-4 in page 4 will follow (the real difficulty is the keyboard mapping, it use actually 8 different mappings, depending on the 41 state (shift/non shift, alpha/shift-alpha, user, and 2 mappings for partial sequences input)

RE: ti41cx
Why was this thread moved? It's about an HP-41CX emulator, surely that's appropriate for "Not quite HP Calculators - but related"? Even if said emulator runs on a TI.

RE: ti41cx
Seems to function as well on the Cemu emulator. (I used the windows version)
CEmu wiki page Transfer ti41cx files one at a time and move each to archive. Key mapping for square and sqroot seem to be swapped. |

RE: ti41cx
Keymap using TI83 Prem CE picture.
May not be complete as I am not familiar with HP41. |
