EPROM dump for AMP roms v7.1
Hi All,

I have just received "another" HP-71b with three CMT 64k Eproms. The 71b was clearly originally the property of AMP Australia (http://www.amp.com.au) and the ROMS are numbered AMP-02, AMP-03 and AMP-04. I have previously provided details and links for Version 6.1 of the AMP modules:

https://www.hpmuseum.org/forum/thread-13120.html

The CMT Eproms in this 71b are again marked as AMP-02, AMP-03 and AMP-04 however the software is Version 7.1 Aug 1991.

For those who are interested I have attached lif and bin files of Version 7.1.

Regards

Richard

Hi Richard,

The Tables ULJ, ULA overlay is new to us. Could you make a hires bitmap scan of just that overlay so it could be added to the Emu71 set?

Here's version 8A of the EPROM set.

Thanks Richard.

I've made a request to the powers that be (Matthias and Christoph) that the overlay be added to the Emu71 set. Lets see what happens. Smile

Attached are the Photoshopped BMP from Matthias and a KML file. Here's the existing set of overlay images and scripts from Christoph.

The guy also sells a ZENwand that might explain the missing port cover in the HP71B. The overlay itself seems to use for an external unit: Volume / Contrast or it is used for the service ROM.

I agree, the "Module Pulled" message and adjacent E#'s in the titles confirm the seller removed the wand and then immediately took photos for the listings. I also agree the custom overlay must be for an external HP-IL device (maybe connected via RS-232 interface) as it includes a "DIAG" command. Possibly this was used in some manufacturing scenario. It is amusing that they bothered to label the "g" key with a "g".
