KBD2 test in HP48SX
Hi,
I was playing with my 48SX. After running the "standard" keyboard test KBD1 by ON+D then E, I discovered that ON+D followed by F launches a test called KBD2. But, I don't know what it does. I haven't been able to find this documented (this is not in the manual, and Google did not help). Does anyone here know? (I did not try this on my 48G, which is in my office at work.) SN PS: I found some info on KBD2 test for the 49G: HP49G KBD2 test on comp.sys.hp48 |

RE: KBD2 test in HP48SX
This test is docmented in the HP-48 FAQ list (availble on hpcalc.org and many other places) but the description merely says "Partial keyboard test". I have seen this documented in more useful detail somewhere, but don't recall where... (or even when).
Maybe comp.sys.hp48 would have something? --Bob Prosperi |

I think this is the one that was first when Didier posted. Thanks for that Didier, I knew I saw it somewhere. I recalled the upper diagonal, but not the lower one so could not get it to complete. --Bob Prosperi |

Thanks for the link, Bob. I had forgotten about that page. I always pull up a local copy of the HP 48 FAQ when I need it.

RE: KBD2 test in HP48SX
Thanks for the replies. (I'm a bit surprised this answer is in rskey.org rather than in comp.sys.hp48 or in this forum.) Perhaps this could be inserted into the 48 FAQ? (Well, I suppose it's not really a *frequently* asked question...)
