The book covers the 48S and 48SX, but a good portion of it is still relevant to the 48G, 48GX, 49G, 50G, etc.

I also have their 19BII and 17BII books, and the 27S one is currently on its way in the mail.

Not yet; I may have to get a bigger scanner to do that one. It's a standard paperback like the 48 book, but it's a larger format, and I don't think it will fit neatly on the scanner glass when spread open. The 19BII book is small like the 48 one, so I may do that next. The 27S book is VERY large paper, but it's spiral-bound, and I think I can uncoil it to scan the pages individually.

Not my taste either! But it is nothing in comparison to Grapevine's mind-bogglingly stupid policy of notating key stroke sequences. In an attempt to over-simplify everything, they have succeeded in systematically penalizing those who actually understand the lessons.



I mean, anyone who needs that kind of instructions on page 294 (!) of a rather elementary book should seriously consider selling his HP-48 and doing something else with his life.

That being said, there are a number of Grapevine publications I wouldn't want to miss (like Ray Depew's excellent "HP-48 Graphics" or the two calculus related books by Dan Coffin) and I am very grateful to Dave Britten for the work he's done.

Yeah, Casio manuals tend to do the same thing, and it's just awful to try to follow their examples.

You should see the full-page wall-of-text solver equations in the 19BII book that I need to scan!

Let me return the favor, since I didn't have the S/SX version until 2 minutes ago

Any ideas where to host the G/GX version? I have not signed up with archive.org and would prefer not to do so.

You don't need to sign up with archive.org in order to use it. I never sign in and I can download any documents I want.

Right, you can download anything you want. But when I tried to upload the book, I got a message that I have to log in or create an account.
