Repair HP97?
I took my old HP97 out of storage to find that the printer doesn’t work (display flashes gibberish) and the “0” key is non responsive.
Is anyone repairing these? I would very much appreciate a referral. Thanks! |

Contact Adam Jones, id aj04062, here on the forum. Adam offers many HP Calculator repair services, and has done innumerable repairs for myself and many other members here, all with good turnaround, fair prices, and low risk. --Bob Prosperi |

Might be worth a quick look inside. Common problems: Flat/faulty/leaky battery (should read about 5V, recharge/replace) Dirty battery contacts (clean) Moisture inside the calculator (blow dry/clean) Dirt/Oxidation on the inter PCB contacts (clean) Corrosion build up on circuit boards (clean) cheers Tony |
