HP35 repair
Hello
I have an HP35 still working but with some problems. A lot of bounces on the keyboard and Xy, log, ln and ex keys not working. Is there any chance to fix this? Is it easy to open the case without any risk to create new default or to damage the unit? Regards |

RE: HP35 repair
IMHO the most challenging part is to get off the screws under the label without ruining it.
Some people punch holes into it to get to the screws, others remove the label partly or commonly with different methods ... |

RE: HP35 repair
Thanks for help.
Dont known why but my HP35 does not have any sticker on the back. So, where is it possible to get a very good picture of the label to make a print? Regards |

A search here using this string "Hp 35 label" (without quotes) Gives me an answer: https://www.hpmuseum.org/forum/thread-71...p-35+label Scroll down and you will find a print that could be good enough, and apparently eBay was also offering professional made labels (see the link in the above thread). Dave
Many thanks for this nice picture. An HP35 will retreive a good look. I have cleaned the keyboard contacts an the working is much better. Next step will be to rebuild the missing battery. I plan to make a 3D printing with NimH AA. Regards |

RE: HP35 repair
Hi,
if it is of help, someone from a country from the far east, used to sell very reliable HP calculator back stickers (in eBay). And not very expensive (10USD, SC included) I have bought some of them in the past, for different models, and I have to say that, for me, were satisfactory enough. I am going to check the eBay username of the seller. He was very kind also! Kind regards Ignacio |
