exponential simplification
I was doing some fuse i-squared-t calculations last night and found that when you use the CAS to multiply exp(x) * exp(x) you get exp(x)^2 and not exp(2x). Is there a way to get the CAS to do that simplification?

RE: exponential simplification
The CAS command "lin" (from the catalog) does the work.
The "lin" command should be listed in the menu "CAS/Rewrite/Exp & Ln" from my point of view. Ramón Valladolid, Spain TI-50, Casio fx-180P, HP48GX, HP50g, HP Prime G2 |
