HP 10BII Setting a Sales Price
HP 10BII User Manual on page 95 demostrate on how to
calculate on "Setting a Sales Price" with this formula. Price = Total Cost ÷ Number of Units x (1+(%RTN ÷ 100)) As shown in the manual the last step doesn't have to be 20 [÷] 100 [=] On Page 33 about "Finding a Percent" said that the [%] key divides a number by 100 unless it is preceded by an addition or subtraction sign. In this case this formula is preceded by the [x] sign Key so here is the shorter stpes. 40000 [÷] 2000 [x] [(] 1 [+] 20 [%] [)] [=] display answer 24.00 Gamo 7/2021 |

All Total Cost of this products is $18,500.00 that make it to 500 units. I want 35% profit how much should I charge for each unit. Total Cost = $18,500 Number of Units = 500 RTN = 35% Steps to calculate: 18500 [÷] 500 [x] [(] 1 [+] 35 [%] [)] [=] display answer 49.95 Answer: $49.95 To check answer: While 49.95 is on display [x] Number of Unit (500) 49.95 [x] 500 [=] 24975 18500 [CST] 24975 [PRC] [MU] display answer 35 So the answer return to 35% profit as expected.
