Dave Jones find his "other" box of calculators
...and waxes nostalgic about a couple of HP's interred there-in.

He also shows off an interesting but discontinued Casio designed specifically from the EE market, currently a hot item on eBay.

My big take-away question is: who in the world would have that many calculators? :-)

Excellent - a lost storage box with a Swiss Micros DM15L in it.

Also, that Commodore calculator, made in the UK, that one is pretty rare. He has serial number 8066, mine is 9051. It's an SR7949, with 50 functions on a double-shifted 19 key layout, and 12 digits of precision in a 5+2 format 9 digit LED display. That 5↔10 on the top right, that shows the second set of 5 digits. The final two are guard digits.

22 years ago (or so) I had a co-worker who used a HP-41, and kept it on his desk.
I was laid off from that company a year or so later.

I met him a few years after that when I was out an about; I asked how the HP-41 was holding up. He had no clue what became of it.

HUH????

Strictly comedy! I should notify the power company when "charging day" rolls around at my house. :-)

Nice video!
I put the most attention to the Casio fx-61F, i have never actually seen a calculator
with specific buttons for electrical functions, really cool!

My office has three large bins and 6 small bins full of various calculators and pocket computers, so uh, guilty...
