Quick access to L1758
I installed HLP49 (L1758) on my 50g today, and I can access it from the Files menu, but I would prefer for it to appear in my VARS buttons menu, as a shortcut that I can select with an F key. Is that possible to do?
What is the standard way to open a Library program like that? Is it possible from the LIB button RS-2? |

RE: Quick access to L1758
Yes. Make sure that the library is stored in a port (I use Port 2 for this library) and that you've pressed ON+C to perform a warmstart which installs the library. Then you can purge it from Home memory, and access it via the LIB key. Its soft key looks like "HLP49". I use the HLP49.SD command so much that I have assigned it to the shift-and-hold MTH key.
In general, library commands are accessed via the LIB key, but they only appear there after being properly installed in port memory. <0|ΙΈ|0> -Joe- |

RE: Quick access to L1758
When I press LIB, It brings up 4 soft options, HPPOW , :0: , :1: , :2:
I stored it in Port 2, so I then click on :2: . That brings me to 5 soft menu buttons, one of which is 1758. They are just numbers, no names. I have put the folder on the SD, the L1758 file in the Flash Port 2, then turned the calculator on while holding F3. When I press the soft menu button for 1758, it just puts Library 1758: HLP49 on the stack. The only way I was able to run this is from files select the HLP49 in Port 2, push right, then EVAL on the first entry. |

RE: Quick access to L1758
I found a video on youtube showing how to do it, and only realised then that you have to actually press ON+C while the calculator is already on.
